Expanded Crossbow Enchanting lets crossbows take bow enchantments such as Looting and Piercing on the same weapon, and it runs on the server alone.

What it does

Crossbows accept enchantments that normally belong to bows, so one weapon can carry combinations that vanilla rules would not allow. The mod is built for Fabric, with Fabric API, Fabric Language Kotlin and oωo (owo-lib) required, and Mod Menu optional. Servers run it without any client-side installation, so players join without it. Files cover 1.21 – 26.2 across 15 release versions, and the latest Fabric file, 1.0.15, targets 26.2.

The source code is open source under the Apache License 2.0, and the project has a public issue tracker. The author asks users to check existing issues before reporting bugs, and notes the mod has not been ported to Forge.
