Throwable Slimeballs

by drbaum

Throwable Slimeballs lets players throw slimeballs as bouncing projectiles, slime enemies can be hit with them, and slimeballs can be brewed into Bouncy potions.

FabricForgeNeoForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.20.1 – 26.3

What it does

Right-clicking throws a slimeball, and the projectile bounces off blocks. Hits deal damage and knock targets back, and a target struck by one receives the Slimed effect. Dispensers can fire slimeballs too, so an automated setup works the same way as a thrown one.

Potions made from slimeballs come in Bouncy, Long Bouncy and Strong Bouncy forms, and each one can also be made as a splash or lingering potion. Server gamerules control damage, knockback, effect strength, particles, the chance that a dispenser breaks and how a projectile behaves.

The mod works in singleplayer and multiplayer and is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge. Its client and server environment means both the server and every player need it.

Key features

  1. Bouncing slimeball throws

Thrown slimeballs rebound off blocks and can strike enemies, applying knockback and the Slimed effect.

  2. Bouncy potions

Bouncy, Long Bouncy and Strong Bouncy potions can be brewed in regular, splash and lingering forms.

  3. Adjustable server gamerules

Server owners can tune damage, knockback, effects, particles, dispenser breakage and projectile chance.

  4. Rebound after falls

The Bouncy effect lets players and mobs bounce after landing, and sneaking stops the rebound.
