tame every mob
by drbaum
Tame Every Mob, by drbaum, lets players tame most Minecraft mobs beyond wolves and cats, turning passive, hostile and strong creatures into persistent companions.
What it does
Tame regular mobs, then command them to follow, stay or wander, and set them passive, defensive or aggressive. Each tamed creature keeps its own behavior, and a companion can be ridden, equipped, upgraded and given protection. Taming needs mob-specific items that match each creature's requirements, so building a team of different companions takes some planning. A guide covers taming supported mobs, and a second guide helps find suitable upgrades and check their effects.
The mod is built for survival worlds and multiplayer servers where players want their own mob companions. Pets can be healed with suitable food such as Healing Treats or Monster Meat, and tasks specific to each pet add extra upgrade slots. Breeding livestock does not turn bred animals into pets unless the player enables that option.
Tame Every Mob is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Builds are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, covering 1.20.1 – 26.3 across 15 release versions.
