Throwable Fire Charges lets players throw fire charges like fireballs from the hand, a mechanic similar to the one in Hypixel Bedwars, and adds a dispenser recipe.
What it does
Throwable Fire Charges adds a new item that is thrown in a short arc, in the manner of fireballs in the Hypixel Bedwars minigame. The thrown item looks close to a snowball in flight, and it keeps the throwing behavior the author intended. Before version 1.21, a dispenser is surrounded by four fire charges in place of a bow, which is how the item is obtained on those versions.
The server is the side that must run the mod, so every player joining it needs nothing more than the server copy, though the client can also add it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with the latest file for 26.2. A data pack is also available, and its zip is placed in the saves folder of a world, followed by a restart or a data pack reload. Installation is done in the saves folder on Windows, and an optional resource pack changes the texture of the item. The fireball texture icon is credited to wallibear. The mod is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
