The Boys: Unbalanced
The Boys: Unbalanced brings Compound V powers from the Boys universe into Minecraft, with mobs that spawn with abilities and a few mechanics for controlling them.
What it does
Compound V is the source of the mod's superpowers, and several powers from the franchise are included, each with its own abilities and weaknesses. Players can get up to four abilities, though some powers are limited by their own uniqueness. Drinking Compound V variants is how players obtain them, and the drop chance depends on the ranking or tier of each variant. Ordinary mobs can also be born with power, including mimics, Homelander-style pigs, and mobs that turn psychotic and fight like real players. Their drops include splatters used in blood manipulation attacks, so a fight can leave usable material behind.
The mod requires Fabric API and playerAnimator, and it runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. LambDynamicLights is an optional dependency that adds dynamic lighting. The mod is published for Fabric only, for 1.20.1, and is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source. Its first file came out on 2026-07-03, and the latest file, version 3.1.3, was posted on 2026-10-07.
