Text to Voice

Text to Voice lets a player type a sentence and have it read aloud through Simple Voice Chat, as an alternative to using a microphone.
What it does
A player types text into a window and the mod converts it into computerized speech, which is sent through Simple Voice Chat so nearby players hear it. Speech can also be routed through Voicemeeter. The window keeps a history of sentences already said, so an earlier line can be brought back and spoken again without retyping, and the arrow keys move through that list. A Speak button, or the Enter key, starts a line, and a Stop button cuts off speech in the middle of a sentence.
The same actions are available as commands under the ttvoice prefix, and two aliases exist for each original command. A history clear command is documented on the wiki. Text to Voice runs on the client only, so it changes nothing on the server side, though Simple Voice Chat must be installed for the speech to reach other players. Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin are required, and the mod is published for Fabric only, across 1.20 – 1.21.11 with 1.1.0+1.21.11 for 1.21.11 as the latest file. The code is under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later and is open source.

Simple Voice Chat TTS is a client-side Fabric mod, open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later, with files for 1.20 – 26.2, and it also turns text into speech for voice chat. Simple Text To Speech is client-side on Fabric, open source under the same license, and covers only 1.21.9 – 1.21.10. Speech To Text Accessibility is also client-side and open source on Fabric, but it is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and covers 1.21 – 1.21.11.
