Stasis Paradox
by SupperDupper
Stasis Paradox is a Fabric magic mod with a Paradox clock that stops time for the world and can rewind the last seconds.
What it does
The Paradox clock has two faces. One stops time, freezing almost everything in the world, including mobs, music, projectiles, particles, weather, animated textures and redstone. While time is stopped, the other face of the clock reverses the timeline, letting the player step back through the final seconds and alter the outcome. Holding a Paradox item in the hands is what activates it.
A death rewind lets a player who dies while carrying the Paradox clock return once to the moment before the death. Share Mode carries the freeze into multiplayer, so the player's companions can keep acting while every other entity in the world remains motionless. The mod requires Fabric API, and Mod Menu is optional for its settings screen. Stasis Paradox runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for Fabric, for 1.20.1 – 26.2, and the code is all rights reserved, not open source.
Key features
Stop and rewind
Tapping R toggles a rewind mode, and the mouse wheel moves through time: scrolling down goes back, scrolling up goes forward.
Redirect projectiles
A left click on a frozen projectile turns it toward the player's line of sight and displays a preview of the impact point.
Three tiers
The clock comes in Golden, Diamond and Netherite tiers, and the Crown in Netherite adds a further item option.
Control panel
Clicking the scroll dial opens a control panel where the player chooses a 10s, 20s, 30s or custom rewind length.
