Spells Gone Wrong (Iron's Spells N Spellbooks)

by KekeCreations

Spells Gone Wrong adds two combat spells to Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks, a Shotgun Creeper and a Nucreeper Strike, each fired as a set of creeper heads.

ForgeNeoForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.19.2 – 1.21.1

What it does

The mod extends the spell set of Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks, which it requires, and also needs JinxedLib. Its two added spells are built on creeper heads: one fires three heads in a spread formation, the other launches a nuclear strike made of creeper heads. The new features can be switched on or off through the config file, and the spells only work with spells from Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks.

A configurable option lets a casted spell damage the caster, so players can tune how risky the new spells are. Each feature is set in the config, which lets server owners decide whether the added spells are available. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Builds cover 1.19.2 – 1.21.1 and carry the Forge and NeoForge loaders; the latest files are 1.20.1-2.0.2 for Forge and 1.21.1-2.0.1 for NeoForge.

The code is not open source and the mod is licensed under All rights reserved. Source code and an issue tracker are linked publicly. The first release was published on 2024-04-25, and the most recent update is dated 2026-07-04. Sprite artwork in parts of the mod was textured by a contributor credited in the author notes.
