Skillcraft
by Raguto
Skillcraft brings RuneScape-style skills to Minecraft, with skillcapes that players can earn as they level up.
What it does
Skillcraft adds experience-based skills and skillcapes modeled on the RuneScape series. Progress is tracked through new stats that appear in the Combat tab of the statistics screen, so players can follow their advancement as they play. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too.
The mod also supports custom stats added through datapacks. A datapack can define new combat stats that link to attributes such as attack damage, maximum health, movement speed, attack speed, armor toughness and knockback resistance. Stats that do not name an attribute do not apply any effect on their own and need custom code to handle them.
Skillcraft is published for Fabric and NeoForge, with files for 1.21.1 released on 2026-04-19. It is released under All rights reserved, so the code is not open source. Sounds for level-up events can be replaced by resource packs.
Key features

Combat stats in the Combat tab
New stats appear in the Combat tab of the statistics screen once the mod is loaded in a world.
Custom stats through datapacks
Datapacks can define extra combat stats, with an example datapack included to show the required JSON layout.
Attribute-linked stats
A stat that names an attribute such as attack damage or armor toughness applies its bonus automatically, using flat, base multiply or total multiply modifiers.
