TweakLite

by ACEGE_

TweakLite is a Fabric mod that collects a set of configurable client and server tweaks, adjusted through an in-game settings screen.

FabricClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.21.9 – 1.21.10

What it does

Players open the TweakLite configuration screen with the X and K keys by default. Its options are grouped on three tabs, and the Survival tab holds settings that the server keeps in step with connected players, so one set of values applies to everyone on a server. The mod needs MaLiLib, which supplies the configuration framework and hotkey handling.

Because the tweaks are split between client and server, the mod is installed on both sides. Each tweak is a separate setting that can be turned on or off, so a world can keep only the adjustments its players want. TweakLite is open source under the MIT License and is published for Fabric only, with builds covering 1.21.9 – 1.21.10.

Key features

  1. In-game settings screen

A configuration screen opens with a default hotkey, letting players change tweaks without editing files.

  2. Player attack range

Sets the distance at which the player's melee and hit range reaches, adjustable from 0 to 128.

  3. Block interaction range

Changes how far the player can reach to interact with blocks, using the same configurable scale.

  4. Server-synchronized options

Some options in the Survival tab are kept in sync with the server, so the values match on every connected client.

Use cases

Changing reach on a server

A server owner can set attack and block reach in the Survival tab so connected players share the same limits.

Solo tuning

A single-player player can adjust reach and other tweaks in the Creative or Generic tab without affecting any other world.

Who it’s for: Players who want to adjust reach and other gameplay tweaks, and server owners who want to keep a few settings the same for everyone.

How it compares

Full comparison

Long Distanse Touch also changes reach on Fabric for 1.21.1 – 1.21.11, but it is not open source and is released under All rights reserved. Better Beacon Range is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and is server-side only, so players join without installing it; it targets beacon range rather than melee or block reach. Easy Tweak is server-side only and open source under the MIT License, but its files are for 1.20 – 1.20.1.
