What it does
Hammers in the mod work like pickaxes but dig a 3x3 area on each use, which speeds up resource gathering in the mid and late game. The tools are crafted from vanilla materials and carry textures in the same style as the rest of the game, so they sit alongside standard equipment without standing out.
This is a Fabric port of the original Forge Simplest Hammers. It needs Fabric API on Fabric and Quilt, and it runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. The mod is open source under the MIT License, and public links to its source code and issue tracker are available. Files cover 1.20.1 – 1.21.3 across nine release versions, with 1.1.4 for 1.21.3 as the latest file for both loaders, published 2025-09-29.
