Silent Screenshots
by Crendgrim
Silent Screenshots removes the chat message that Minecraft shows after a screenshot is taken, and it can replace it with an action bar message or a sound.
What it does
By default, taking a screenshot in vanilla Minecraft prints a line in the chat. Silent Screenshots stops that line from appearing, so chat stays clear during recording or while a player is building. Taking several screenshots in a row no longer stacks old messages above newer ones, because none of them is written to chat at all.
A configuration file is generated on the first game launch. Its options control which actions happen when a screenshot is taken: the vanilla chat message can be shown again, an action bar message can be displayed above the hotbar, and a sound can play, which is on by default. The mod is client-side only, so only the player taking the screenshots needs it. It is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and it is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 32 release versions, 1.18 – 26.3.
Key features
Hides the chat message
The message that normally reports a saved screenshot is removed from the chat window.
Action bar notice
A short confirmation can appear in the action bar above the hotbar instead of in chat.
Configurable sound
A sound plays when a screenshot is taken, and the option can be changed or turned off in the config file.
Vanilla chat option
The original chat message can be restored through the config if a player prefers the default behavior.

Use cases
Recording and streaming
Players who capture many screenshots during a session keep the chat window free of repeated notices.
Screenshot-heavy play
Builders and photographers who take screenshots in quick succession see only the feedback they chose.
Who it’s for: Players who take screenshots often and want less chat clutter, or who prefer a sound or action bar message as confirmation. Only the client needs the mod, so server owners do not have to install it.
How it compares
No Screenshot Message is client-side only, open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and published for Fabric and Quilt on 1.20.1, while Silent Screenshots covers Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 1.18 – 26.3. Panorama is also client-side only, but it is not open source, and it targets Fabric and Forge for 1.16.5 – 1.21.4.

What the author says
A very simple Minecraft mod that removes the "Screenshot taken" chat message. When taking multiple screenshots in a row, old screenshot messages always appear in the newer screenshots. This prevents that from happening.
