ReJoin

by zachphul

When a connection drops during play, ReJoin can send the player straight back to the multiplayer server they were on, using one keypress.

FabricClient-side onlyMIT License1.21.10 – 1.21.11

What it does

ReJoin reconnects to the last multiplayer server after a kick, crash or other disconnect. Retries follow an exponential backoff, and the delay, retry limit and automatic reconnection can be set in the config screen. A kick reason filter can skip reconnecting when a server kicks or bans the player for a specific reason.

A live ping HUD sits in the top-left corner during multiplayer and shows the current ping, colored green, yellow or red. Pressing a key while in the game returns the player to the saved server, and the server list remembers the addresses of previously joined servers so they can be picked again. The mod needs a required library alongside Fabric, and it is released under the MIT License without being open source. It was first published on 2026-06-15, with the current 1.1.0 build for 1.21.11 added on 2026-06-19, and it covers 1.21.10 and 1.21.11.

Key features

  1. One-keypress reconnect

A single key press returns the player to the last multiplayer server after a kick or crash.

  2. Automatic retries

Disconnects trigger retries that use exponential backoff, with a configurable delay and retry limit.

  3. Kick reason filter

Reconnection can be skipped for chosen kick reasons, such as a ban, so the mod does not retry those.

  4. Live ping display

A HUD in the top-left corner shows the current ping in green, yellow or red during multiplayer.

Use cases

Recovering from crashes

A player whose game closes during a server session can rejoin without browsing the server list again.

Returning to favorites

Servers saved in the list keep their addresses, so a player can get back to a favorite server quickly after a kick.

Who it’s for: Players who join multiplayer servers often and want to get back into a server after a disconnect, kick or crash without navigating the server list.

What the author says

Ever get kicked from your favorite server and have to click through the entire server list just to get back? ReJoin eliminates that entirely. As soon as you disconnect, it remembers where you were. One keypress or automatic retry and you are reconnecting with exponential backoff.
