QuickPing

by AshKiano

QuickPing lets a player mark any block with a single middle-click, and the marker stays visible only to that player.

FabricClient-side onlyMIT License1.21.10 – 26.3

What it does

A pinged block gets a bright wireframe outline drawn exactly around its edges, so the spot stays findable while building, exploring or recording. Pings live on the client alone and are never sent to a server, which makes them useful as private notes in single-player worlds and on multiplayer servers alike.

The mod is a Fabric client mod: only the client needs it, and servers run without it. It is published for Fabric alone, with 6 release versions 1.21.10 – 26.3, and the latest file is 1.1 for 26.3. The code is released under the MIT License, but the project is not open source.

Key features

  1. Single-click block pings

A middle-click on a block places a ping on it, with no menu or command to open first.

  2. Exact block outline

Each ping draws a bright wireframe outline around the block, so the marked spot is clear from a distance.

  3. Client-only markers

Pings are never sent to a server, so they stay private to the player who placed them.

  4. Highlights for recordings

Marked structures and points of interest stay visible on screen, which helps content creators point out places during videos.

Use cases

Tracking spots while building

A player can ping a finished build or a resource location and return to it later without writing coordinates down.

Exploring unfamiliar terrain

Ping markers help keep track of caves, ruins or landmarks while moving through new areas.

Who it’s for: Single-player players who want private markers, multiplayer players who keep their own notes without affecting the server, and content creators who highlight structures on camera.
