please stop
by Peetsa
Please stop, once a player stops pressing movement keys in creative flight, removes the residual drift so the character halts at once.
What it does
When a player releases the active flight input, Please stop brakes the leftover creative flight drift, leaving vanilla creative flight itself untouched and disabled by default. The brake is a client-side action, so the server does not need any change to see it. Toggling it is done with the B key, which can be rebound in the Controls menu, and a settings menu opened with M lets the player adjust it.
The mod is aimed at precise building, where sliding past a block line or overshooting a detail while taking screenshots wastes time. A separate toggle, defaulting to N, controls whether the notification toasts appear, and those messages only show in creative mode. Please stop depends on Fabric API and is published for Fabric on 1.21.1, 1.21.11, 26.2 and 26.3, under the MIT License, as open source.

Residual creative flight drift is stopped once the active flight input is let go, so the character stands still.

The brake can be switched on and off with B by default, and the key can be rebound in the Controls menu.
Settings menu
A settings menu opened with M gathers the options, including the toasts toggle that defaults to N.

Use cases
Precise building
Lining up blocks and sliding into a precise spot stops more cleanly when the character halts at once.
Screenshots and inspection
Stopping in place helps when taking screenshots or inspecting small details in a build.
Who it’s for: Players who build in creative mode with flight and want the character to stop when movement keys are released. Server owners do not need it, since the mod runs on the client alone.
