Opac-Towny
by YanS27
Opac-Towny, a NeoForge nation-management mod for multiplayer servers, lets players found nations with government hierarchies, shared economies and territorial wars.
What it does
Players found a nation and set up its government: a Mayor holds absolute authority over settings, leadership transfer and disbanding the nation, while a Deputy Vice-Mayor handles territory, player recruitment and role assignment. A Finance Minister runs the nation's treasury and caps how much can be withdrawn each day, while a Defense Minister enlists soldiers and approves declarations of war. Standard citizens hold basic nation rights, and dedicated combatants can take part in warfare.
Opac-Towny rests on Open Parties and Claims (OPAC), wires into the Numismatics economy and Xaero's Maps, and turns ordinary land claims into a geopolitical simulator. Nations can levy automated taxes, take on national debt, form diplomatic treaties and set granular per-chunk access rules. Opac-Towny runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files cover 1.21.1 – 1.21.11 under All rights reserved, and the latest NeoForge file is 1.0.2 for 1.21.11.
