Next Level Twitch Integration
by Multicoder
Next Level Twitch Integration lets stream viewers trigger Minecraft commands from their chat, such as spawning mobs, applying effects and changing the time of day.
What it does
Viewers of a Twitch stream can type chat commands that run inside the game: a command spawns a named mob near the players, another gives players a named effect for 10 seconds, and a time command sets the overworld to day, noon, night or midnight. Streamers who want chat to cause some chaos can open the mod's settings and decide what each command does.
The mod is configured through a token file, nlti-token.toml, which must be edited before first use. A base cooldown sets the number of seconds between uses of the same command, and a blacklist lists mobs viewers cannot spawn with the mc-mob command. After the token is set up, the game or server has to be relaunched once so the connection takes effect.
Installation needs Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin. The mod runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it, and it is published for Fabric only, for 1.21.11. The code is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later.
Key features
Chat-triggered commands
Viewers send Twitch chat messages that run named commands, so the stream audience can affect the game world live.
Mob spawning
The mc-mob command spawns a chosen mob next to the players, and a blacklist keeps selected mobs out of reach.
Timed effects
The mc-effect command gives players a named status effect that lasts 10 seconds.
Time control
The mc-time command sets the overworld clock to day, noon, night or midnight.
Per-command cooldown
A base cooldown in seconds limits how often the same command can be used.

How it compares
TwistMyCraft is also open source under the MIT License, but it targets 1.21.8 and runs on client and server, as this mod does. CubeTwitchChatFB is open source under the MIT License, is client-side only and is built for 1.21.11, so it needs no server install. Twitch Whitelist is server-side only, open source under the MIT License, and built for 1.21.1, which places it on a different version than this mod.
