Music Delay Reducer
by Kyronis
Music Delay Reducer shortens the wait between background music tracks in Minecraft Java Edition, so tracks play more often.
What it does
Vanilla Minecraft leaves long silent gaps between background tracks. The mod reduces the delay before the next track starts, so music is heard more often during play. Its settings are changed through a custom options menu, and the mod can be opened from Mod Menu when that optional dependency is installed.
The mod runs on the Fabric, Forge and NeoForge loaders and covers game versions 1.20.4 – 1.21.5 across seven release versions, including 1.20.4, 1.20.5, 1.20.6, 1.21, 1.21.1, 1.21.4 and 1.21.5. Only the player's game needs it, and servers run without it. The code is released under a custom license and is not open source, though a source repository and issue tracker are linked from the project.

How it compares
Music Machine is client-side only, released under the MIT License, is open source and covers 1.20.1 – 1.21.11 on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge.
