Materialis
by RCXcrafter
Materialis, a Forge addon for Tinkers' Construct, adds new tool materials and a wrench modifier that lets tools rotate blocks.
What it does
The addon adds several materials to Tinkers' Construct: Fairy, Brass, Aluminum, Nickel and Uranium. Each one can be used to build tools in the Tinkers' Construct tool forge, so the materials join the existing set rather than replacing it. Tinkers' Construct is required and must be installed alongside Materialis.
A wrench tool modifier allows a tool to rotate blocks when used. The wrenching ability can be applied to a tool through the modifier slots, and the Galvanized modifier and a multitool with a right-click ability add further behaviour. Materialis also includes a trade that takes two upgrade slots and produces an ability slot, applied only to a wrench. The server and every player need the mod installed. Source code and an issue tracker are public, and the code is released under the MIT License, so the project is open source.
Materialis is published for Forge across three release versions, 1.12.2, 1.16.5 and 1.18.2, with 2.8.6 for 1.18.2 as the latest file. Its compatibility features cover other mods, including Botania, Create, Immersive Engineering, Mekanism, MythicBotany, Pretty Pipes, Psi, Quark, Redstone Arsenal and Thermal Foundation, which are optional.
