Librarian is a Client-side only storage mod that expands the saved hotbar system, adding page-based capacity and a faster loading path for saved hotbars.
What it does
Saved hotbars gain a page system, so a single hotbar save can hold more than one set of slots. Librarian also changes how the game loads saved hotbars, moving that work into the background to remove the lag spikes many players notice when working with them. Players can change a hotbar's name or its page label while in game by running the client-side command librarian meta, and the same renaming is reachable from the creative inventory menu by clicking the text.
Because the system stays compatible with vanilla, worlds that use saved hotbars do not need a conversion step before the mod is installed or removed. Some older versions rely on client-side command libraries that apply changes differently, and for those builds the metadata can also be set manually with an NBT editor; the author recommends NBTExplorer for that purpose.
Librarian is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only. Its source code and issue tracker are public. Files cover 1.12.2 – 26.2 across Fabric, Quilt, Legacy Fabric and Ornithe, with 28 release versions in total, and the latest file for every loader is 3.1.4 for 26.2.

Refined Saved Hotbar is Fabric only, for 1.21.11, and is not open source, licensed as All rights reserved.
