W95

by Video

W95 gives players a set of client-side utilities for inspecting the game, sending chat and commands, and tuning rendering for crowded scenes.

FabricClient-side onlyMIT LicenseOpen source1.16.5

What it does

W95 works on the client alone. Players who install it can view the information that normally appears on the F3 debug screen without the frame rate cost of that overlay, which keeps the text readable while the game stays responsive. A player can also send chat messages and run commands from within the mod's own interface.

Several tools target heavy scenes. Certain rendering features can be switched off, which helps when a world holds many entities. Players and server owners can list the entities and block entities in the area, along with a few details for each one, which helps locate the source of lag in a scene. The mod also includes a module for locating specific inventory menus, with a toggle named AntiLockup that can be turned on or off separately.

W95 requires Fabric API and is released under the MIT License. Its source code and issue tracker are public. The first build appeared on 2023-03-05, and the latest file, 1.2, targets 1.16.5 and carries the same date.

  3. Rendering toggles

Originally privately distributed out of fear that it would be abused by malicious actors, it is now public because I no longer support it. It was succeeded by WNT. Due to reasons beyond…
