ImageFrame Client

The client side of ImageFrame lets a player see HD, full color images that a server displays on its item frames. Support depends on the server: the server must run ImageFrame 1.8.7.1 or above, and the server admin can disable client mod support, in which case the client has nothing to show. Players who are unsure whether a server supports it should ask the server admins.

Only images created after setup can use the native resolution display, while full color output also applies to older files. Full color display works with existing images, while native resolution display only applies to newly created ones. The mod also covers maps held in the hand and tooltips for filled maps, which work with vanilla maps, and tooltips for combined images made from pieces of enchanted paper.

The mod is client-side only, so only the player's client needs it, and it is not needed on the server. It is published for Fabric and Quilt, with files for 1.21.4 – 26.3 and 26.3 as the latest version, under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only. The code is open source, and Mod Menu is an optional dependency. MidnightLib is bundled inside the mod.
