Hibernal Herbs
Hibernal Herbs adds holiday-themed herbs found in snowy biomes, along with a mystical campfire and incense items that give nearby entities status effects.
What it does
Walking through snowy biomes, players come across Myqueste Trees, which yield mysterious herbs. Other ingredients can be combined with these herbs to make holiday feasts, and the mod ties the whole theme to festive celebrations with a touch of mystic arts. Drying herbs is essential at the start of progression, and the drying step feeds into conjuring new metals.
The Mystical Campfire is a key component for advancing through the mod. Pounded dried herbs produce incense that gives surrounding entities status effects, depending on which herb went in. Reaching the Arcane Ruins requires exploring the End Highlands first, and players will likely want to pick up the key items found there to open the full potential of the mod.
A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, covering 1.19 – 1.21.1 in eight release versions. The code is open source under the MIT License, and the latest Fabric and NeoForge builds are both 1.4.3 for 1.21.1.
