Healing Pretty Good
Healing Pretty Good changes how the player's maximum health is raised, through Heart Crystals, Heart Containers and temporary hearts that can be crafted and consumed.
What it does
Heart Crystals are crafted and used to add permanent or temporary health upgrades to the player, and configuration files control how many permanent and temporary hearts each crystal grants. Heart Containers hold a health item the player can store, and a container can also lower health by one, while temporary hearts are consumed without returning a heart item, so players should spend permanent hearts first. Health drops from mobs and heart bottles are part of the mod, and the Ender Dragon always drops five Ender Souls, with the value of each soul depending on the version used.
Heart Lanterns, polished heart crystal blocks and heart crystal apples extend the building options. Advancements open decreasing heart items that can be obtained in a semi-farmable way, and Christmas textures turn hearts into candy canes during December. Healing Pretty Good needs Fabric API and Koala Lib, and it runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. It is released under a custom license and is not open source. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across nine release versions, 1.19.2 – 1.21.1, with 1.5.3 as the latest file for 1.20.1.
