Flyd

by Sammy

Flyd lets modpack creators define new fluids by editing TOML files, so custom fluids can be added without writing code.

FabricClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.21.1

What it does

Fluids are generated dynamically from TOML configuration files, which gives modpack creators a way to add custom fluids for their own recipes. Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin are required, and Paxi is an optional dependency. Flyd is published for Fabric only, for 1.21.1.

Key features

  1. Config-driven fluids

New fluids are defined in TOML files, so creators can add them without writing Java or Kotlin code.

  2. Custom recipe use

Fluids created this way can be used in custom recipes, which is the main purpose the author describes for modpacks.

  3. Shared fluid lists

Fluids are kept identical across server and client, so a modpack's fluid set matches for every player.
