Startklar
by Sammy
Startklar lets a player leave the spawn area in a flying mode, launched by jumping off a cliff near world spawn in the overworld.
What it does
Startklar is a server-side Fabric mod that changes how a new player begins in the overworld. A player who jumps off a cliff near world spawn starts flying automatically, and while in this flying mode the player takes no fall damage on landing. Pressing shift in midair gives a single boost. The mod also includes an alternative random teleport that sends the player away from spawn with a boost. Only the server needs the mod, so players join without installing it. It requires Fabric API and is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, with files for 1.21.9 and 1.21.10.
