FiltPick

by APeng215

FiltPick lets a player choose which items the pickup logic takes in, using a whitelist or a blacklist kept as a list of items.

FabricForgeNeoForgeClient and serverGNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 onlyOpen source1.16.5 – 1.21.11

What it does

Two filter modes decide what is collected: in whitelist mode only the listed items are picked up, while in blacklist mode everything except the listed items is picked up. Entries are added or removed by clicking, so no configuration file is needed. An optional auto-destroy setting discards items that the filter rejects instead of leaving them on the ground, and a real-time HUD shows which items are being blocked while the player plays.

The mod targets players who are tired of collecting dirt, gravel and other junk while mining. The server and every player need the mod installed. It requires neither Fabric API nor any other mod, and it is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 20 release versions, 1.16.5 – 1.21.11. The code is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 only, and the source code and issue tracker are public.

Key features

  1. Whitelist and blacklist modes

Whitelist mode collects only the listed items, while blacklist mode skips them and collects everything else.

  2. Auto-destroy option

Rejected items can be destroyed on pickup rather than dropped, keeping the inventory free of unwanted stacks.

  3. Real-time HUD

A heads-up display lists the items being blocked, and the filter screen shows the same information at a glance.

  4. Click-to-set filter list

Items are added or removed by clicking in the filter screen, and the button positions can be customized.
