HideHUD
by exoenrgy
HideHUD lets players hide selected parts of the on-screen interface, including the hotbar, crosshair, experience bar and inventory overlays, with the H key.
What it does
Each element of the heads-up display can be switched off on its own, so a player can remove the hotbar or crosshair and keep the rest. Pressing H toggles the hidden elements, and the O key opens the settings screen by default. Options can be changed in an accessible config screen, where the chosen elements are kept visible or hidden.
Some overlays from other mods are hidden too. The mod detects overlays rendered through the RenderGuiLayerEvent of Forge and NeoForge, and an extra option turns off notifications for new recipes and advancements. The result is a cleaner view for players who prefer minimal screens.
HideHUD is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across six release versions, 1.20.1 – 26.2. It is a client-side only mod, so servers and other players do not need it, and it is released under the MIT License. The code is not open source.

Minimal play
Players who want an uncluttered screen can keep only the elements they need visible during play.
Who it’s for: Players who want a cleaner screen and server owners who do not need to install anything, because the mod runs on the client only.
How it compares
KeybindHider covers 1.20.1 – 26.2 on the same three loaders, and is released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. Only the player's client needs it, and it is not open source. Disable Fog is also client-side only and is released under All rights reserved, so a player can install it without a license to accept.
