Falling Star Rewards
Falling Star Rewards drops items on a server through falling celestial bodies that land at random intervals and leave a small non-destructive explosion behind.
What it does
Celestial bodies arrive from above at random intervals and touch down in the world, where each creates a small explosion without destroying blocks and releases items. The items can be anything from common resources to rare, valuable ones, and the drop table, frequency and event types are set in configuration files. Custom model data and custom NBT data are both supported, so a server can give its rewards a distinct look or behavior.
Server owners place the mod in the server's mods folder, then launch the server once so the default configuration files are written. Settings can then be changed by editing those files or with in-game commands, so the rewards can be tuned to the pace and style of a particular world. The mod runs on the server alone; players join without installing anything. Files are published for Fabric and NeoForge for 1.21.1, and Fabric API, Forge Config API Port and Matthiesen Core are required dependencies. The code is open source under the MIT License.
