Explosive Party gives TNT, beds and End Crystals custom particle colours, so each explosion can be tinted, sized and animated to suit the player's taste.

What it does

The mod changes how explosions look and behave in Minecraft. Blocks such as TNT, beds and End Crystals detonate in custom particle colours, and the mod adds other large explosions as well. A player can switch between colour modes quickly, pick from up to six custom effect colours, or enable a Pride flag colour mode. Particle settings cover size, animation speed and whether the effect is shown at all.

Explosion types are configurable, and a new explosion configuration arrived in version 2.0.0. Wind burst and enchantment items extend the effects. Compatibility with Explosive Enhancement is documented by the author, and explosions can be used together with that mod. Fabric API and owo-lib are required, and Mod Menu adds an easier configuration screen and a colour picker. The custom license applies, and the code is not open source.

The mod works on Fabric for Minecraft 1.20 – 26.3, with files for 24 release versions. Only the client needs the mod for its visual effects, while the server can add it to sync explosion types, which requires the server side.
