For nearly every solid block that vanilla Minecraft leaves without them, EverySlab produces slab, stair, wall, fence and fence gate versions.
What it does
Vanilla Minecraft offers slabs, stairs and similar variants for only a small subset of solid blocks. EverySlab fills that gap by creating these variants automatically for more than 1000 blocks, including stone types, wood types, ores and other solid blocks from the game and from installed mods. Each generated variant copies its parent block's hardness, blast resistance, tool type, harvest level and sounds, and drops the variant itself when broken.
Each new variant gets a crafting table recipe and a stonecutter recipe, so a slab can be made from a full block, and stairs, slabs or walls can be made from their parent block. Redstone behavior also follows the parent, as in the example where a piston activates a redstone stair. The variants appear in separate creative tabs, one for slabs and one for stairs. The mod is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and it adds variants for building mods such as Quark, Supplementaries and Create.
