Eva's Random Placement randomly picks which block from the hotbar is placed, using weights set per slot.

What it does

Eva's Random Placement selects the block to place from the hotbar at random, with a relative weight for each slot that can be set in the mod's options. The weights are adjusted when the hotbar size differs, and empty slots are taken into account. A key toggles the behavior on or off, and a held key can also switch it on for as long as it is pressed. The mod runs on the client alone, and it is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, which makes it open source. It requires Fabric API, and Eva's Scroll Tweaks is optional. It is built for Fabric and covers 1.21.2 – 26.1.2, with the latest file, 0.2.0+26.1, dated 2026-04-04.

The mod is incompatible with ReBuilder. It works with RePlacer through its configured setup, which gives inherent compatibility with that mod.

Key features

    Each hotbar slot gets its own relative weight, which controls how often a block from that slot is chosen.

Relative selection weight can be set per slot, and should you have a different hotbar size for any reason, if that change is implemented properly, this will take that into account…
