Equipment Benediction
by HuNao
Equipment Benediction is a Forge library that lets equipment items carry custom modifiers, quality levels and set effects, and KubeJS is required to add them.
What it does
The library adds an exclusive Modifier quality set effect for equipment items. Modifiers can apply mob effects and attributes, respond to events on the mod bus, run an exclusive tick, and be limited by black and white list matching. Recasting items are also supported, so a modifier can be rolled again on an existing piece of gear.
Custom modifiers and equipment sets can be defined through KubeJS, so pack makers can give vanilla weapons and armor new qualities without writing Java. The mod is open source under the MIT License. Files are published for Forge only, across seven game versions 1.19.2 – 1.20.6, with 0.0.3 for 1.20.1 as the latest file. Installation covers the server and each player's game. KubeJS is a required dependency, and Curios API is optional.

Use cases
Pack-specific gear
Modpack authors can give vanilla weapons and armor distinct qualities, so the early game feels less uniform.
Set armor with unique bonuses
Authors can build equipment sets whose combined effect goes beyond the simple bonuses of the individual pieces.
Who it’s for: Modpack authors and server owners who want custom equipment qualities and set effects, and are comfortable writing KubeJS scripts to define them.
