Ender IO
by Team EnderIO
With Ender IO installed, machines, conduits and armor from one tech mod share the same Forge and NeoForge setup, and the mod runs on client and server.
What it does
Ender IO bundles machines, conduits, tools, weapons and armor, along with decorative blocks, redstone components and enchantments. Conduits move power, fluids and items between machines, and the inventory management parts cover storing and sorting. Mobs and mob-related content are part of the package as well.
Players on Forge or NeoForge can use the mod alone, but it integrates with Applied Energistics 2, Mekanism, JEI, CC: Tweaked and Athena when those are present, and Applied Energistics 2 ME conduits and Mekanism chemicals appear among the features. Nine catalog mods, including KubeJS EnderIO and Re:Avaritia IO, require Ender IO. The mod is open source under The Unlicense, with a public source code repository and issue tracker. Its files cover 1.12.2 – 26.1.2, with 6.2.18-beta for 1.20.1 as the latest Forge file and v9.0.6-alpha for 26.1.2 as the latest NeoForge file.

How it compares
Immersive Engineering is a Forge and NeoForge tech mod for 1.12.2 – 1.21.1 under a custom license, and it is not open source. Mekanism Trimming is an open source add-on under the MIT License for 1.20.1 – 1.21.1, with the client and server environment. Mekanism:MoreCapacity is open source under the MIT License for 1.20.1 – 1.21.1 and runs server-side only, so players do not need it installed.
