EMI Loot

by fzzyhmstrs

With EMI Loot installed, the EMI Recipe and Item viewer shows the loot tables for chests, blocks and mobs as separate views.

FabricForgeNeoForgeQuiltClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.18.2 – 1.21.1

What it does

Chest entries are listed by drop chance, and the list also covers items that other mods inject into loot tables. The stack sizes shown give the average item count a player can expect to pull at once, before the probability of the drop is applied. Block drops are grouped by the circumstances needed to obtain them, such as Silk Touch or Shears. Mob drops are split the same way, covering cases like a mob being on fire or extra drops from Looting.

EMI Loot needs EMI, Fabric API and Fzzy Config, and Symbols 'n' Stuff is optional. The server and every player need the mod installed. Builds cover 1.18.2 – 1.21.1 for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and the code is released under the MIT License as open source. The mod is in beta, and the author notes that features may change as development continues.

Key features

  1. Chest loot views

Loot in chests is listed by percentage, including drops that mods add to vanilla loot tables.

  2. Block drop categories

Block drops are grouped by the conditions needed to get them, such as Silk Touch or Shears.

  3. Mob drop categories

Mob drops are split by circumstances, such as a mob being on fire or extra drops from Looting.

  4. Data-driven conditions

A resource-pack system defines custom drop conditions and how they are parsed.
