Emerald Pouch adds two tiers of storage pouches that hold large stacks of emeralds, so players can carry currency without filling their inventory.
What it does
Picked-up emeralds can be sent into a pouch automatically, and a shift and right-click on the pouch in hand opens it directly. Auto-pickup fills the first pouch found before moving on to the next one. Pouches come in several colour variants and two sizes, and each opens a custom container screen.
Trades with villagers can draw emeralds straight from a pouch. Selecting a trade pulls the payment from the pouch, and shift-clicking the result repeats the trade while refilling the emerald slots. When the merchant screen closes, leftover emeralds that came from a pouch go back into it, and the trade session tracks which emeralds came from pouches and which from the regular inventory.
Emerald Pouch requires Architectury API and toucanLib on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge. Among the optional add-ons, the same set of companions can be left out without breaking the mod. The mod runs on the client and the server, so both need it, and files are published for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1. It is released under All rights reserved and is not open source, though public links to the source code and issue tracker exist.
