Elemental Maces
by Lupin
Elemental Maces, a Magic mod by Lupin, gives the mace weapon four elemental variants, each with its own area and mob-control effect.
What it does
The first version adds four new maces, and the author plans further maces in later updates. Each mace changes how the weapon fights: the Smouldering Mace raises a ring of fire around its wielder, the Ender Mace is built to keep enemies at a distance, the Withering Mace leaves a lingering cloud of withering particles, and the Resonating Mace releases a sonic blast that deals heavy damage and blinds nearby enemies.
Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across six game versions, 1.21 – 26.2, and the project is released under All rights reserved, so the code is not open source. Source code is available through public links. Awesome 3D Mace is an optional dependency that adds 3D models to the maces.
Key features
Four elemental maces
Smouldering, Ender, Withering and Resonating maces each use a different elemental power in combat.
Fire ring
The Smouldering Mace creates a circle of flames around its wielder, protecting them while the fire burns.
Withering cloud
The Withering Mace creates a persistent cloud of withering particles that stays behind after a hit.
Sonic blast
The Resonating Mace releases a massive sonic blast that inflicts heavy damage and blinds enemies nearby.
Knockback control
The Ender Mace is meant to push enemies away, letting the wielder keep distance from a target.

Use cases
Combat variety
Players who already use maces can switch between elemental variants to suit different fights.
Mob encounters
Each mace suits a different situation, from clearing a group at close range to controlling a single target.
Who it’s for: Players who want additional mace variants in survival or adventure play, on single-player worlds and multiplayer servers where both sides run the mod. Players who want a 3D look for the maces can add Awesome 3D Mace.
How it compares
The Elementals - RPG is a Fabric, Forge and NeoForge mod for client and server, open source under the Apache License 2.0, with files for 1.20.1 – 26.2, and it covers a wider scope. Electric Mace is also a client and server mod, open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later, for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt across 1.21 – 26.3, and it adds a single electric mace instead of four elemental ones.
