EaseGUI
by weyneee
With EaseGUI, menus and screens in Minecraft slide, scale and fade in when they open, using animation settings the player can adjust for each screen.
What it does
The mod animates the entry of interface screens. Each element category can have its own animation toggled on or off, with control over how long it runs, where the element starts relative to its final layout, its starting scale and opacity, and the anchor point used for scaling. A global preset applies to all screens by default, and individual menus can be tuned or left without animation.
Cascade settings stagger the entry of consecutive elements of the same type, with a delay between them and a chosen direction for the sequence. The mod runs on the client alone, so players install it and servers do not need it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with Fabric API required on Fabric and Mod Menu optional for the settings screen.
Installation needs Fabric API on Fabric. The mod is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later and is open source, with public source code and an issue tracker. Builds cover 1.20.1 – 26.3, and the latest Fabric and NeoForge files target 1.21.1.
Key features
Entry animation toggles
Animation can be switched on or off for each selected element category, so only chosen screens animate.
Duration and starting position
Duration sets how many milliseconds an animation lasts, and offset sets where the element starts relative to its final spot.
Starting scale and opacity
Initial scale on each axis and initial alpha control the size and transparency of an element at the first frame.
Staggered cascade
Cascade delay spaces out consecutive elements of one type, and cascade order sets the direction of the sequence.
Pivot point selection
The pivot point chooses the anchor used for scaling, such as the center or a corner of the element.
