DropConfirm
by mutt
Players who drop a stack by mistake can use DropConfirm, which asks for a second confirmation before items leave the inventory.
What it does
When a player drops items, DropConfirm shows a confirmation prompt first. The prompt guards against losses such as handing items to another player by accident or throwing them into lava or the void. A reset delay, set in seconds, controls how long a confirmation stays valid before it expires. Every option is adjustable in the configuration screen.
The mod is client-side only, so players install it alone and servers do not need it. It requires Fabric API, Fabric Language Kotlin, HalpLibe, Kotlin for Forge, Mod Menu (BTA Port), UniLib and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL), with Fabric Language Kotlin, Kotlin for Forge and Mod Menu listed as optional. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, across 32 release versions, and the code is open source under the MIT License.

The prompt helps when dropping near lava or in the void, where items cannot be recovered.
Who it’s for: Players who want a safety check before dropping items, and players who use the mod alongside a configuration menu through Mod Menu or YetAnotherConfigLib.
