Ding
by iChun
When Minecraft finishes loading, reaches the Main Menu, joins a world or completes a resource reload, Ding plays a sound that the player can configure.
What it does
Ding plays a sound at three moments: once the game has started and the title screen is showing, when a world finishes loading for the player, and when the game has finished reloading resources. The sound is chosen in the configuration, and the name comes from the chime that plays when a player picks up an experience orb. The mod is a small client-side utility with no gameplay changes.
Ding depends on Fabric API and iChunUtil, which must both be installed alongside it. It is released for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and files cover 18 release versions, 1.18 – 1.21.5, with 1.5.0 for 1.21.5 as the latest file on each loader. Only the client needs the mod, so servers run without it. The code is under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and the project is open source with public source code and an issue tracker.
