Dimension Fixer
by mahmudindev
Dimension Fixer corrects hardcoded vanilla behavior that only applies to the standard dimensions, so custom dimensions can work the same way.
What it does
Many vanilla systems, such as the End dragon fight, the end gateway, the nether and end portal search radius, sleeping, and the End music on the client, are tied to the three standard dimensions. Dimension Fixer reads a dimension's settings from configuration and datapacks, so these systems also apply to custom dimensions. Its tweaks are disabled by default, and a single world can be adjusted without starting from scratch.
Configuration moved to dimensionfixer-common.toml in version 0.0.11, and the old dimensionfixer.json file was migrated. Fabric API is required on every loader it supports, and the mod is open source only in the sense of public source code and an issue tracker; the license is All rights reserved. Dimension Link is optional and lets nether and end portals link to custom dimensions. Both the server and the client can run it, but neither needs it.
Key features
Custom dimension fixes
Advancement progress, recipe grants and portal behavior can be corrected for dimensions added by other mods or datapacks.
Datapack configuration
A dimensionfixer folder in a datapack namespace holds alias and tweak files, one JSON file per dimension, with no code needed.
Overworld sleeping
Sleeping is enabled by default for the Overworld alias, so players can skip the night in a dimension that would otherwise block it.
Portal link customization
Nether and end portals can be linked to other dimensions when Dimension Link is installed.

How it compares
Advancement Disable is server-side only, open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only and published for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt across 1.20 – 26.2, so it removes advancements rather than fixing dimension behavior. No Portals is server-side only, open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and published for Fabric and Quilt across 1.19 – 26.3, and it works on portals only. Dimension Fixer has files for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 1.20.1 – 26.3 with All rights reserved.
