Death Swap 死亡交換
With Death Swap 死亡交換, players are scattered across the world and must swap positions with another player before the timer runs out.
What it does
The minigame is built around one simple objective: when the countdown ends, each player is teleported to another player's position. Before a swap happens, players can set traps or use other methods to make an opponent take heavy damage. Teams of up to four are supported, along with solo play, and a game needs at least two players to start.
A swap countdown bar warns players when a swap is near and gives temporary invincibility around each exchange. Server owners configure the game through an inventory-based settings interface, which covers maximum health, starting tools and equipment, and an auto furnace for faster preparation.
The mod is server required and client optional: the server runs the game, and players may add the mod to their client, but they do not have to. A data pack version is also available, and the project is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with files for game versions 1.20 – 26.3. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source. It is required by Death Swap-Gmchange 死亡交換-遊戲模式切換.

How it compares
Death Note is a server-side mod for the 1.20.2 – 26.3 range, released under the MIT License and not open source, so it is a different kind of minigame. Swapocalypse is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and covers 1.21 – 1.21.4, while Hand Swap is client-side only, not open source and covers 1.21 – 1.21.11, so players install it on their own client instead.
