Death Note lets a player write a name in a notebook so that the named person dies, with a Fabric, Forge, NeoForge or Quilt install.

What it does

Death Note is a minigame mod in which a notebook is used to record a name. A player opens the notebook, writes the name exactly and clicks done, and the named person dies immediately afterward. The effect happens right after the entry is completed. Fabric loader requires Fabric API, which must be installed alongside the mod.

The mod runs on a server and is needed there, while a client may run it as well. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 22 release versions, 1.20.2 – 26.3, and the code is released under the MIT License, which means it is not open source. The mod is also available as a data pack.
