CodenameGamer Paxels is a Fabric equipment mod that adds paxel tools, combined axe, pickaxe and shovel tools, with support for several other mods' materials.

What it does

Paxels are multi-tool items that work as an axe, a pickaxe and a shovel in one. The mod adds them for multiple material tiers and extends the set with materials from optional mods: Advanced Netherite, Amethyst Imbuement, BetterEnd, BetterNether, DragonLoot and Mythic Metals. When one of those mods is present, its materials appear as paxel recipes; when it is absent, nothing breaks.

Fabric API is required. The mod is published for Fabric only, across four release versions 1.20.1 – 1.20.4, and the latest file, 1.0.0+1.20.1 for 1.20.4, was published on 2024-01-28. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. The code is open source under the MIT License, and the source code and issue tracker are public.

    Each paxel works as an axe, a pickaxe and a shovel, so one slot covers chopping, mining and digging.

    When Advanced Netherite is installed, its materials can be used to craft paxels in the same way as vanilla tiers.

    With Amethyst Imbuement present, paxels can be crafted from its gem-based materials.

  4. Mythic Metals materials

    Mythic Metals alloys become paxel materials when that optional mod is installed.
