Cobblemon Unimplemented Items

by tmetcalfe89

Cobblemon Unimplemented Items adds Bottle Caps, Golden Bottle Caps, a spawn-blocking block and a fishing-based reward path to Cobblemon, covering items the base game does not yet include.

FabricForgeClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.19.2 – 1.21.1

What it does

Bottle Caps drop from fishing when a treasure is caught, with a 1 in 10 chance. Crafted together with the matching Apricorn, a Bottle Cap gives a stat, and using it on a trainer Pokémon raises that stat's IV to the maximum where possible. Golden Bottle Caps are rarer, dropping at a 1 in 100 chance from the same fishing treasure, and raise all IVs of the Pokémon they are used on to the maximum where possible. Players can read IVs in the party menu.

The mod also adds a block that stops any Pokémon from spawning within a 21 by 21 by 21 cube around it; it can only be obtained in creative mode. The mod is client and server. Both the server and every player need it. It requires Cobblemon, Fabric Language Kotlin and Kotlin for Forge, depending on the loader. Builds cover 1.19.2 – 1.21.1, with files for Fabric and Forge, and the code is open source under the MIT License.

Key features

  1. Bottle Caps from fishing

Fishing up a treasure can yield a Bottle Cap at a 1 in 10 chance, a common reward during regular play.

  2. Apricorn stat crafting

Crafting a Bottle Cap with the right Apricorn assigns a stat that can then raise that IV on a trainer Pokémon.

  3. Golden Bottle Caps

A rarer cap from the same fishing treasure raises every IV of a Pokémon to the maximum where possible.

  4. Spawn-blocking block

A creative-only block prevents Pokémon from spawning within a 21 by 21 by 21 area around it.

What the author says

A beautiful bottle cap that gives off a silver gleam. While fishing, if you happen to fish up a treasure, there is a 1 in 10 chance of also obtaining a Bottle Cap. Alone, this Bottle Cap is not very useful, but if you craft it together with the right type of Apricorn, you can give the Bottle Cap a stat according to…
