Claim
by yigitguven
Claim lets players mark out areas of land and protect them, with permission settings for each claim and a 3D view of the territories.
What it does
Players select a region with a wooden shovel and turn it into a claim. Inside a claim, changes to blocks are restricted, including breaking and placing blocks, filling or emptying buckets and trampling crops. Each claim can be set to PRIVATE or PUBLIC, which decides whether other players may use chests, doors and buttons there. Trusted players are added per claim through a dedicated interface, so owners can decide who may build on their land.
The mod includes a 3D management screen that shows claims as projector previews over the terrain elevation, and it can overlay claims on the world map. Xaero's World Map Integration is supported, and it displays claim colors and highlights foreign territory. Server operators can switch the bypass for claim protections on or off in the server configuration, and the area selection item can be changed there too.
Claim is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and is open source. It is published for Forge and NeoForge across seven game versions, 1.19.2 – 1.21.10, and it runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. The latest NeoForge build is 2.0.0-beta.2 for 1.21.1 on the beta channel, and the latest Forge build is 1.1.1 for 1.20.1.

PoliticsMod is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and runs on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge for 1.20 – 1.21.1, so it covers more loaders than Claim.
