With CitFancy installed, resource packs that use OptiFine-style CIT custom item textures display on Fabric without OptiFine itself.
What it does
CitFancy adds support for CIT (Custom Item Textures) resource packs on Fabric. Many packs written for OptiFine's CIT feature work with it once the mod and Fabric API are installed, and no extra configuration is needed. The mod is built to support the common CIT features used in those packs, and a number of advanced OptiFine options are also handled.
The mod is lightweight and focuses only on CIT support, so it does not bring in other OptiFine functions. Its textures are purely visual and give no gameplay advantage. The code is not copied from the original OptiFine implementation, and the mod covers the CIT Resewn approach for newer versions.
CitFancy requires Fabric API, and is published for Fabric Loader only. It is a client-side mod: only the client needs it, and servers run without it. Thirteen release versions are published, the latest being v2-26.3 for 26.3, released on the beta channel. The mod is not open source and is released under All rights reserved.
