Chiseled Enchanting
by Pedro270707
Chiseled Enchanting lets a chiseled bookshelf placed beside an enchanting table supply enchanted books that the table can draw from.
What it does
Once a chiseled bookshelf sits near an enchanting table, enchanted books placed in it are offered to the table as enchantments. The table takes the books' enchantments into account, so an item can receive a level that the books supply.
The mod is server-side only, so players join without installing anything, and the server alone runs it. It requires oωo (owo-lib) and is published for Fabric and Quilt across 11 release versions, 1.19.3 – 1.21.1, under the MIT License, and the source code is open source.
Key features
Books on the table
Enchanted books stored on a shelf that sits next to the table become selectable enchantments at the table.
Adjustable odds
The chance of getting an enchantment is configurable and tied to the number of books placed on the shelf.
Maximum levels
Enchantments can be obtained at their maximum level when the books placed on the shelf provide that level.
Multiple enchantments per item
An item such as a pair of leggings can receive two enchantments, for example one with Thorns and one without.
