Headed adds a set of extra mob heads for Fabric, including colored sheep heads, glowing eye variants and 8x8 player heads.
What it does
Heads from many mobs are added as placeable blocks, so builders can decorate rooms, shelves and displays with them. Some heads play sounds through note blocks, and several glow, which helps them stand out in dark areas. Unlike data-pack head mods, Headed renders the heads through models.
The mod targets Fabric only, with builds in nine release versions. The latest file is 1.1.4 for 1.20.2, published on 2023-11-03. Headed runs on the client and the server alike, so both sides need it. Fabric API is required, and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) is required as well. The code is not open source; the mod is released under All rights reserved, and source code and an issue tracker are linked publicly.

Enderman, spider, cave spider and phantom heads emit light from their eyes.

Fast Custom Head is a Fabric mod for 1.19.2 – 1.20.2 that is not open source and runs on either side, released under the MIT License.
