Builder's Trowels
Builder's Trowels adds a set of craftable trowels that place random blocks from the hotbar with a single right-click, so builders can mix textures without swapping blocks by hand.
What it does
Each trowel tier is a tool with its own placing speed and durability, and the material it is crafted from sets those values. Copper is slow and steady, iron places at a standard speed, gold is extremely fast but fragile, diamond is faster than iron and lasts longer, and netherite is the top tier for rapid building. Players pick a tier to match the size of the job.
Randomized placement draws from the blocks in the hotbar, so paths, walls, ruins and terrain details end up with a natural mix of textures. Some tiers accept a customizable blacklist, and blocks or items on that list are never chosen for random placement, which keeps unwanted materials out of a build.
Installation covers the server and each player's game. It is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with files for 1.20 – 1.21.10 in eight release versions, and is licensed as All rights reserved, which means it is not open source.
